About The Event
This is a two day introduction course for people new to the sport. We provide an overview of boat design; safety and rescue; weather; kit and equipment, and, of course, lots of time on the water learning the basics. Over the five days we can really get beyond the basics and gain some serios skills in the boat, as well as looking at some of the background theory and knowledge to develoip your seamanship.
We try to ensure that you are able to leave with a safe, confident outlook and the knowledge to know where to go next.
This course needs a minimum of three people to run.
