Sea Kayak Safety & Rescue Course

This is the new British Canoeing Sea Kayak Safety & Rescue Course.  Delivered over two days, the course practises initially in sheltered water, then moves to context in moderate water.  We include a variety of rescues and towing elements, as well as some repairs and calling for help and 1st aid.  You should either hold, or be of a Sea Award standard, and be able to manoeuvre your boat in moderate water to get the most out of the course.  This is a great training course for the Coastal Award or someone looknig to move towards Sea Kayak Leader - or indeed for anyone who simply wants to be safer on the sea and have a variety of rescue tools at thier disposal.

The course requires a minimum of three bookings to run.
