Sea Kayak Skills Training Week

This course is our annual residential skills training week. We base ourselves at the fantastic Carry Farm, replete with easy shore access, smart self-catering bunkhouse and camper van parking. The week is aimed at moving your paddling on to the next level. Generally the paddlers will be approaching the BC 3* standard, and wanting to get that extra concentrated push to really develop their skills. We always include some coastal foraging, 1st aid, navigation, safety & rescue and incident management in these courses; 3* assessments are available if required. Our coaching philosophy is based on personalised coaching so we keep the groups small. We focus on concentrated coaching, then go for a coffee to warm up, reflect on the learning, then get back on and practise some more. In the past our clients have found that this approach really maximise the skills development and can really boost confidence.
